This well-respected and much sought after 1984 Honda VT500FT Ascot has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life.
As you can see it's got a few bits missing; front indicators and RH side panel being the most obvious. There are some metal brackets behind the shocks that aren't standard, they were perhaps for holding panniers?
The wheels look straight with bright clean alloy rims
Forks look straight with bright chrome
Headlight, tailight and rear indicators all look ok
Instruments look good and switches move freely
The exhaust is solid and tidy as are the mudguards
There are a few marks in the otherwise bright paint
The tank looks useably clean inside
When we hooked it up to a booster battery we had it firing/running on easystart spray but the throttle is stiff, the carbs and fuel system will require some attention.
